Lismore day 3, 30th october

I dont know that I would ever get tired of waking up to this! Mind you the bed was a leetle bit challenging being in the eves of the cottage but look at this, we would open the velux window and look out at this while having our first coffee of the day. I just loved seeing the grass blowing in the wind.
Much excitement! today is our 13th wedding anniversary! 13 years since the best day of my life! Marrying Mark was the best thing I have ever done, 21 years together and 13 married, fantastic.
To celebrate we had booked the Pierhouse hotel in Port Appin for lunch, there are no hotels or resaurants on the island, so we went to the mainland on the foot ferry.
so off we popped!

Lovely day for it! and dont we look happy 💗

Taxi for Williams! We both loved seeing the wee ferry come into view!

Thats it! thats our taxi!
The ferry crossing was lovely, the ticket collector came round and dished out chocolates since it was halloween! turns out he is the husband of the teacher on Lismore.

Lunch here was fab! we literally stepped off the ferry and into the hotel

After a fair amount of food and a little wine 😉 we got the ferry back to Lismore

We re traced our steps back to our cottage to chill

Its been a super wedding anniversary, thank you Lismore!
