Woolly Bob goes home, aided by Mini Mini Bud the Puppy (guest blog post)

Hullo! its me, Mini Mini Bud the puppy, Budsmam allowed me to do a guest post on hur blog to explain me n Woolly Bob stowing away on hur holiday.
Back in 2017, Budsmam n Scoobs went to Orcknees for the first time. Whun they wur there they saw sum Woolly Pigs
When she got home and posted abowt it on hur instagram ower luffly Aunty Cath challenged ower luffly Aunty Betti to make a Woolly pig

And there you have it ... the legend of Wolly Bob was born 😊
So when we heard that Budsmam and Scoobs was not only going to visit luffly Sue and Boo and David but they were going to ORCKNEES! well there was only wun thing for it, we had to stow away (lets not go into why we wurnt VIP passengers ...)

Now I am a seasoned stow away having been to Nantes with Budsmam but Woolly Bob was new to this so I inducted him into the art of stowing aways. He wus fine.
First we went to Skye, it was sooper luffly, we had a luffly cottage, when Budsmam was owt and about me n Woolly Bob came out to see the view.
We sat on the sewing table
And we even got to sit outside in the sun!

But soon it came time to leave Skye so we made sure we stowed away again properly
We luffed it on the ferry, there were other bairns there too!
Well we did luff it but poor Woolly Bob was seasick so we had to come out of stowing away, it would have been a bit yuk if we didnt. Budsmam wasnt too angry (she might have suspected ....)
So we looked after Woolly Bob and made sure he was ok.
There was much excitment when we arrived! Woolly Bob was returning home to his birthplace!!!!!
We also had a huge bettisbairns reunion!

Woolly Bob also got to say hello to luffly Boo

Oh my giddy Aunt what an adventure! Woolly Bob was a bit better on the way home which was nise

I did have to disuade him frum coffee and a mars bar though on the ferry .... that might have been a step too far!

Its ok Woolly Bob I have a feeling that we will be back to Orcsknees very soon

Orkney last day - going home more ferries

Finally time for a group photo! Mini Bud has asked for a guest blog post to explain him and Woolly Bob stowing away 😊so I wont say any more on this post about that, but it was lovely for the gang to meet up again.
Woolly Bob had a better time on the ferry, no seasickness this time!

Can you read this? Lovely David made us a packed lunch (play piece) we got a note to remind us to share nicely, which we did!
Back home again to fish and chips and planning our next get together 😊

Orkney day 4 sewing and groatie buckies!

The morning of our last full day was spent sewing with Sue (me) cycling round the local roads with David (Mark!)
Sue and I managed to get her over her Dear Jane B2 hump! which was great, I sat and did my embroidery, such fun.
In the afternoon Sue took Mark and me down to "her beach" just outside their house. We had quite an overgrown walk down there. Poor Boo was challenged by the cows in the field, especially cow no50!

We saw red campion, I want to use that for my stitch journal lovely purples then down to the beach.

Looking for groatie buckies in the rock pools! Mark in his element here.

Gin at Sues!

Then off to Evie bakhouse for sourdough pizza

What a super lovely day to end the holiday

Orkney day 3 seals!

June 23rd Fantastic walk from Yasneby to Skail (Skarrabrae)Beautiful cliff walk then along the sand and beach

We met David back at the car and had a picnic (no pictures! too busy blethering!) there were so many seals popping their heads up, so beautiful

In the evening we went to Birsey, the causeway is only open when the tide is out so the evening was the best time to go.

Two of my most favrouite people
Can you see the puffin?????? we were so excited! Then we caught up with David and he had a ledge with loads more! but i didnt get pictures of that

Beautiful
