Day2! we got the ferry to rousay, so cute! just about a half hour journey, the hanging below was in the Rousay visitor center, gave us lots of ideas for our stitching books!
This wee seal was my favourite
Sue drove me around the island while David and Mark cycled around. There were so many chambered cairns!
The moss and the aging on them were incredible, you could feel the age of them
Little Boo couldnt get into this one so had to keek in through the viewing window! This was in the double chambered cairn, it was too dark to get pictures inside but oh my the peace and serenity ran right through you.
There was a peace and a stillness which i dont have words for.
We walked down to the Midhowe broch Mark came too, how wonderful this was
There was a walk way so you could look over the top of the chambers
Mark was able to get some pictures of me and Sue, this was such a lovely day!
And Sue got some of me and Mark!
The beaches .....
We walked along to an old graveyard along the beach
Just a beautiful special day
