Well the days are sloooooowly beginning to get longer! And fence posts always remain a constant.
So what have we been up to in January? Well putting together some of last years stuff into finishes! And starting new BOMs, below are the blocks for the quiet play BOM in the garden. I’m using all liberty fabrics. Light background for the lotus sashing block fillers and dark background for the main blocks.
Whoops! This picture is out of place, I am finishing off the mandalas to go with each month of the spider rose temperature blocks from 2021.
Carina had quite a few mandala longs last year so I am using them up.

And a mock up of the temper spider webs with their mandalas, a few still to do.
It’s been a funny old month. I should have been at a quilting retreat with chums but that got cancelled yet a flipping gain ….. hey ho, one day it will happen! But the days are brightening and spring will come, just need to be patient.
Lots of sewing managed even without the retreat - I hope that gets rearranged soon. Thanks for Furtling!
