Me and my lovely scoobs, will only have one full holiday together this year. Scoobs is going on an epic walk later this year which is taking up all of his holidays. So we wanted to keep this cheap and low key as possible. We decided to use up the last few months of our National Trust membership and go round some stately homes :-)
First up Culzean Castle. Lovely grounds, the inside was nice but a bit samey if you know what i mean?

It was also my Scoobs birthday! happy borthday my scoobs!
On the Thursday i also got to reunite with my floofy pal Rocco! there was a leaving party for an old friend at QMU so I took the opportunity to reunite with my floofy chum.
Well what better way to round off a super staycation than by seeing the fabulous Sue, her lovely husband David and the gorgeous Boo. Mini mini Bud agrees :-)

Next up was my favourite of the week the Tenement house in Glasgow. Its a flat in a Tenement where Miss Toward live for almost 70 years until the 70s. It has been lovingly restored and its like stepping back in time.
Pollock house was next and it was nice but there were some rather "over enthusiastic" volunteer guides who did spoil it a bit, really nice wall paper though.
Last but not least is Gladstones land an old house on the Royal mile in Edinburgh which has fab ceilings.
