Gosh this was an amazing trip, for our wedding anniversary in 2014. I cant believe these are the only pictures i took. I went to the Musee d'orsey, that was amazing, seeing Van Gogh up close and personal was incredible, also Monet. We had sushi on the banks of the Sienne, I flaked out going up the eiffel tower! Ditto Notre Dame "une femme anglaise!" non! ecossaise!" beautiful monmartre, trying to find coffee. Mark almost falling over in the coffee shop, just fabulous!
Now this is a lovely quilt, dont get me wrong but it just confirmed my aversion to solids. I made this version of a QAYG sampler quilt for my inlaws who picked the fabrics. All very pretty but too many solids for me. It did turn out well though!
Wow! I dont think i will ever forget this day! I am terrified of heights but did a charity abseil, totally loved it, OMG the folks who helped us were climbers etc and they were so professional and lovely. I remember lining up on the forth rail bridge struts and seeing a young boy in front of me and an elderly lady behind me and thinking i cant chicken out if they are going to do it. Exhilarating I wanted to go back up and do it again!
These are the only photos i have of this bag! But look at the fabric how gorgeous is this! I think this was my second or third sew together bag for my chum Jacky, she loves pink, its a great but very involved bag to make!
