October Furtle

Im slowly get on with hooping up or finishing off older embroideries its nice being able to see these and use them again.

We have a finish! Not just an intention but also a fettle too πŸŽ‰ my autumn leaves are done and I love them, full blog post here
Whoof! This is such biggie! My first over the balcony quilt since 5th June 2024πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰ the tiny 9 patch challenge quilt, blogged about here
Another embroidery finished up! I do love this one
New needle minderπŸ¦‡
The stitching is finished but I wasnt able to get it fully finished off in time for Halloween
Another embroidery hooped up
This was an intention ✅️ I stitched this last year and needed to finish it off. I made a mini quilt using the panda snowman fabric
Meet Bernice the bat! Isn't she adoreable πŸ’•πŸ¦‡ blogged about here

I got this cross stitch from a selkie chums over 2 years ago. I had made a small start but it's not really my style. But I decided to take it up to Benderloch with me because its small. Ive actually managed to do quite a lot up here it has stitched up very quickly. I just have to do the (mostly half stitch) outer bits now
How did i do with intentions? Not bad, 2 out of 4. The hollygon wreath has been on hold while I concentrated on Halloween things so I can pick it up again now. The Halloween cross stitch is mostly done. Im happy with this.

  1. Look at all that progress! And finishes to boot! October has been a very exciting month, especially the quilt-over-the balcony moment! Hooray for finishes and the fettling of them! (And for remembering what your intentions were and to make new ones, not something I’ve not got in the habit of doing.) *waves pompoms* Thanks for Furtling!

  2. Wow! You've made loads of progress, on every front! The finished quilt is *awesome* and it's so good to see MrBudsmam back to 'project holding/showing off', which he does so well. Yaaaay! *Kermit flail* πŸ˜„
