Re engaging with Christmas

Many many things have caused me to dis engage with Christmas. But it's time to gently re engage,  on my own terms hopefully but I can't ignore it and  hope it will go away any more 😊
I really will never be a big present person I find a lot of Christmas present giving performative and unnecessary to say the least. But a wee Christmas minding should be OK. 4 pincushions for 4 good chums 😊


Great fun to make, pincushion pattern from Arabesque scissors these were handed over this weekend,  weekend which was almost derailed because brush with covid! Thankfully all negative. 
Saturday was fab catch up with Kim and Jo down in the Borders. Sunday was Ruth and Sheena in Edinburgh,  fancy non alcoholic cocktails and a trip to Modern 2 to see the exhibition Decade's, so lovely.

    The pin cushions and wee bags look lovely, hooray for finishes *waves pompoms* I hope you have a gentle Christmas on your own terms, hopefully one which involves a lot of sewing and films xx
