October Furtle

So! What has been happening in October? Lots of different things. I got caught up with my William Morris wheel of the year

Darn pic below is upside down, bit like me at the moment!! It's my 2023 temperature embroidery, I had fallen behind but now all caught up 😊

I do love making an Emmaline bag and made this to go to Henrys mum along with his quilt 

Oooft this was a marathon ... I really wanted to getting cracking with my Bubbles quilt all made in speckled fabric. But fpp ing the blocks was so time consuming, I spent a little time and worked out the maths to machine piece which allowed me to motor on.

Main difficulty was getting more background fabric! A lot of the navy speckles are very similar. Thanks to the fabric fox I managed to source the right navy.

Need a bigger floor ...

It's all pieced together now and ready to go to Cath to work her long arm magic

Final furtle is my new bobble hat for swimming! Really easy pattern from love crafts and I love it!

Bobble hat for the swimming!

 

Guess who forgot to put this on her fettle list! Anyhow, I need a bobble hat for swimming, keeps the heat in! 

I have been wearing a hat my sister knitted for me years ago but thats pure wool and i dont want to get it wet.

Nothing to do but knit my own! Easy peas free pattern from love crafts. Came up very quickly

I wanted to make a pom pom it's a but scraggy but it will do 😊

Another sunday another dip

 I keep making drafts then forgetting to post them! 

This was another Sunday dip, look at the sun! I didn't stay in too long the temperature in the water was about 10° which was fine.

I gave a lady a lift and she has very kindly loaned me a wetsuit to try.

Broch

 Things change things stay the same 😊 second time staying at my sisters while visiting the Broch, it seems to be working out OK. Stunning stunning walk down the beach, what an amazing space.

Sunset dip

 So! This happened 😊 sunset dip at the lagoon with another new group!

What a lovely bunch. The whole outdoor swimming community is so nice.
