Car park picnics and Melrose Abbey

various health reasons mean that I've gone gluten and dairy free, it's OK mostly but when your out with chums and they want ice cream I expected to sit it out. But no! Gluten free cone and mango vegan ice cream!!!! It was lovely. 

How happy does this chap look? 

This is the museum for Melrose Abbey. During covid some chums and I met in a car park of a local patchwork shop and would have socially distanced picnics. When one of our group moved away we started meeting half way in the Borders, Melrose is so beautiful sonthis time we decided to go to the Abbey.

Beautiful floor tiles, just think of all the people who walked over these!
