Japan day 9 last day in Nara

Well what a grey dreich day in Nara! Probably the best for me though otherwise I'd be tempted to go hell for leather and pack loads of stuff in 🤣

My last amazing breakfast! Wow the next hotel has a lot to live up too!

I had about 3 hours before the train to Kyoto so left luggage at hotel and pootled off. 

First stop was the stationery shop which was shut yesterday OMG I could have bought the lot 🤣🤣🤣

Next I went in past the fabric shop I found yesterday,  they have such a good selection of Cosmo fabric 

I managed to find a craft museum, small but so beautiful

So I took a slow rain to Kyoto,  my oh my it was soooooo weird coming back here, the last time we were here was March 2020, yes March 2020 😳 how little did we know, I spent a lot of the pandemic thinking that if I was never going to to foreign travel again then at least I had an amazing Japan trip! So to now be back is quite a feeling. 

There was a bit of stress at taxi rank, I showed the driver the address and he kept saying telephone??? I eventually git out and asked fir an English speaking cab, he git me to me hotel which is not that far from where we stayed last time!

It's all a bit strange tbh the last visit was tied up with so many feelings and emotions,  I need to process those then make this part of the trip a new start 😊
