January furtle 2022

 

Well the days are sloooooowly beginning to get longer! And fence posts always remain a constant. 

So what have we been up to in January? Well putting together some of last years stuff into finishes! And starting new BOMs, below are the blocks for the quiet play BOM in the garden. I’m using all liberty fabrics. Light background for the lotus sashing block fillers and dark background for the main blocks.

Whoops! This picture is out of place, I am finishing off the mandalas to go with each month of the spider rose temperature blocks from 2021. Carina had quite a few mandala longs last year so I am using them up.

It’s been a funny old month. I should have been at a quilting retreat with chums but that got cancelled yet a flipping gain ….. hey ho, one day it will happen! But the days are brightening and spring will come, just need to be patient.

Fettling 2022

 We furtled now we also Fettle! I will admit I was adrift when the finish along went awol. I like organisation and I like a link up and accountability!
